Most room-rental sites assume you want a place for a month. But people passing through a city need a room for a few hours — to rest, to freshen up, to wait out a layover — and they want to book it in seconds, without making yet another account. The owner, meanwhile, needs a real back office: rooms, pricing, availability and bookings, all in one place.
I built Daily Kost as a two-sided product. The guest side is a fast, no-login flow: pick a location, a check-in time and a duration — 3, 6 or 12 hours, or a full day — and book. The owner side is a complete operations panel at /app for managing rooms, rates, availability and incoming bookings.
It's a Vue 3 + Vite single-page app with Pinia for state and Tailwind v4 for the interface, backed by Supabase and deployed to Cloudflare Pages.
